After washing and air drying the blanket, apply our water repellent by hand spraying it evenly across the entire surface to ensure that every fiber is thoroughly saturated. Allow the blanket to air dry for a full 24 hours following the application.

Please note that once a blanket has lost its original factory waterproofing, no after-market treatment can make it fully waterproof again. This spray is great for light rain and short showers, but results can vary based on the age and condition of the blanket.

If your horse is out in heavy or constant rain, it may be worth considering a new turnout to make sure they stay comfy and dry.
